PITTSBURGH –The Block Northway is excited to announce a vibrant and engaging Student Art Show featuring the remarkable works of talented young artists. The event takes place from February 28th to March 21st in the South Corridor, Upper Level between Lands’ End and DSW. It will provide art enthusiasts and the local community with the perfect opportunity to appreciate and support emerging artistic talent.
“We applaud all the creativity, hard work and dedication from contributing artists and their teachers”, said Jamie Pavlot, Director of Experience. “The exhibit is another way we honor and recognize the important role visual arts play in the lives of so many students and is designed to give guests an opportunity to celebrate the talents of local student artists.”
The Student Art Show will showcase a diverse range of art forms, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and mixed-media artworks. Each piece reflects the unique perspectives, creativity, and skill of the participating students, making this exhibit a truly captivating experience for all.
The exhibit highlights artistic achievements created by elementary, middle school and senior high school students. Participating school districts include Blessed Trinity Academy, Hampton School District, Holy Cross Academy, North Allegheny School District, North Hills School District. Students’ artwork will also be featured throughout 2024 on The Block Northway’s website.
The exhibition is free and open to the public Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
