PITTSBURGH —– The Block Northway is proud to partner with local Girl Scouts for a special patriotic community display celebrating America’s upcoming 250th Anniversary.
Area Girl Scouts are transforming ordinary shoe boxes into creative patriotic tributes featuring red, white, and blue decorations, historical themes, American pride, and messages honoring the nation’s heritage. The decorated displays will be showcased on the lower level of The Block Northway between DSW and Lands’ End from June 29 through July 17.
The exhibit will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is free for the public to enjoy.
This unique community project encourages creativity, patriotism, and youth involvement while helping commemorate and important milestone in American history. Guests are invited to stop by and view the imaginative creations designed by local Girl Scouts of all ages.
“The Block Northway is excited to provide a space for these talented Girl Scouts to showcase their creativity and patriotic spirit, “said Jamie Pavlot, Mall Manager at The Block Northway. “This exhibit is a wonderful way for the community to come together and celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary through art and youth engagement.”
The Block Northway continues to support local schools, nonprofits, scouts, and community organizations through family-friendly events and public displays throughout the year.
