Join us for our inaugural Dog Howl-O-Ween Costume Parade & Contest at The Block Northway.
The event will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00p.m. Â Registration begins at 11:00 and the Parade will start at 11:30 a.m.
Prizes awarded for these 5 Categories:
- Scariest
- Cutest
- Funniest
- Best Owner/Pet Combo
- Most Original
First prizes will be awarded in each category. Contestants cannot win multiple categories.
Every dog and pet parent need to follow the rules:
All dogs MUST be leashed at all times. (No retractable leashes)
Dogs MUST be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations.
Owners and handlers are responsible for the actions of their dogs.
Dogs MUST be socialized and sociable towards other animals and people.
All owners/handlers must clean up after their pets.
Judges decisions are final.
Photos will be posted on The Block Northway social media pages on the day of and days following the event.

 There is no fee to enter. We ask that participants bring a Pet Food donation to benefit the Animal Friends Chow Wagon Program.
The Chow Wagon has been supporting financially struggling pet owners and feeding hungry companion animals across our region. Today, they serve 32 local food pantries and Meals on Wheels programs by distributing more than 8,500 pounds of food each month.
Donations accepted include: Small unopened bags of dog food (12 pounds or less) • Small unopened bags of cat Food (12 pounds or less) • Small bags of rabbit/small animal food • Canned dog food • Canned cat food • Small bags or boxes of treats • Boxes or jugs of cat litter
