PITTSBURGH—–The Block Northway is thrilled to unveil the irresistible winners of its highly anticipated Gingerbread Contest. The competition brought together a talented array of individuals who showcased their artistic and culinary skills, constructing marvelous gingerbread creations that mesmerized both young and old. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants and extend a special invitation to the public to visit The Block Northway from now until January 1st to admire these delightful masterpieces.
The contest attracted gingerbread enthusiasts of all ages, and our esteemed judge, Hollie Kawecki, owner of recently opened Nothing Bundt Cakes, faced a truly sweet challenge in selecting the winners in their respective categories (see attached list).
The Block Northway would like to express its deepest appreciation to all the winners and participants for their skill, dedication, and enchanting designs. Each winner will receive a ribbon and gift certificates provided by the tenants and mall management.
We would like to Thank: Bassett Furniture, Dave & Busters, Lands’ End, BJ Wholesale, Nordstrom Rack, Philip Pelusi, Crumbl Cookies, DSW, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Marshalls, Walburgers, Queen Nail Salon, The Container Store and Aldi for donating to our competition.
We encourage guests to bring their families, friends, and loved ones and capture unforgettable moments as you enjoy the Magic of the Season with these awe-inspiring gingerbread displays.
The FREE display is located on the lower level of the South Corridor between DSW and Lands’ End and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through January 1, 2024.
